Please receive this message from the Rev Kim Brown on behalf of the Church Unity Commission. You are encouraged to participate in the service.

Dear fellow Presbyterians

The CUC is excited to invite you to join us in celebrating the Season of Creation. We will open the season with a service on Wednesday 1 September and then invite you to continue to celebrate the wonders of God’s creation throughout the month of September. The theme of our service is Justice: Economy and Climate Change. In the beginning God gave humankind responsibility to care for and protect this earth but over the centuries we have forgotten that responsibility. We need this earth for jobs, food, water and air. We rely on God’s gift for life itself. These precious resources need to be shared amongst all people and looked after for the generations to come. This September let’s again take up that responsibility to care for and protect this earth and to teach future generations to do the same.
