TO ALL IN THE UPCSA
During the recess (between Christmas and New Year), we received some notices of death and, regrettably, they could not be transmitted to all in the UPCSA. We convey heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pray that they will find peace, comfort and closure. They are as follows:
- Ms Karen Marechell, Sasha Marchinkowski’s mother and Rev Dr George Marchinkowski’s mother-in-law, died on Saturday, 26 December 2020.
- Prof Digby Sqhelo Koyana who was a commissioner from Miller Mission, Mthatha Presbytery to the Presbytery and the General Assembly for a long time, died on Saturday, 26 December 2020. At the time of his death, he was resident in East London and a member of St George’s Presbyterian.
- Mr B.M Gidimisana who was a Commissioner from John Knox Bokwe Congregation, Mthatha Presbytery to the Presbytery and the General Assembly for a long time died on Sunday 27 December 2020.
May their souls rest in eternal peace. We continue to uphold the families in our prayers, as they still deal with the loss of their loved ones.
