The Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa joins the people of Zimbabwe in mourning the death of the former President Robert G Mugabe. May his soul rest in peace.
While it is known that he has been out of power for almost two years now, his departure will have an impact in the course of life and business in Zimbabwe – socially, politically, economically and otherwise. We pray that Almighty God will journey with the nation of Zimbabwe as they find new paths after Mugabe. May peace, tranquillity, justice and prosperity be experienced by all the people of Zimbabwe.
Please receive a statement that has been issued by the Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) on the death of President Robert Mugabe.
