Dear Presbyterians,

Please receive the update from the Moderator of the General Assembly on COVID-19.

We take this opportunity to announce that the Central Office will be closed from Thursday 26th March to Friday 17th April 2020, in response to the South African State President’s proclamation for a shut-down. We will, however, be accessible on cell phones and emails to respond to all the enquires. We will continue with the normal business, but working from home.

We, together with the peoples of the world, continue to pray to our Triune God  for intervention at a time like this. Let us continue to exhibit UBUNTU for those who need our assistance, remembering and helping the impoverished and the marginalised who will be locked down in that state of poverty and need.  Umntu ngumntu ngabantu (I AM BECAUSE YOU ARE. I BELONG; THEREFORE, I AM).

May you ever be faithful and hopeful in these hard and trying times. May God bless you.

Warmest Regards

Lungile Mpetsheni

General Secretary
