TO ALL IN THE UPCSA

The funeral service of the Rev Prof Vuyani S Vellem will take place in Welkom, Free State Province on Friday 13th December 2019 at 08:30 for 09:00. The home address is: 15353 Motsamai Street, Putswastene, Thabong, Welkom. The venue of the service will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

The following services/events will take place in honour of the Rev Prof Vellem:

  1. On Saturday, the 7th December 2019, the Uniting Presbyterian Fellowship of Men will conduct the service of hoisting the uniform jacket (ukuxhonywa kwebhatyi) at his house: 54 Leadwood Drive Rangeview Extension Krugersdorp. The service will start at 14:00. The Moderator of eGoli Presbytery extends a cordial invitation to the neighbouring Presbyteries and to the members of the other Fellowships to attend the service.   2. On Sunday, the 8th December 2019, the Presbytery of eGoli will hold a Memorial service at 14:00. The venue will be confirmed soon. (Enquiries: Rev T Nopapaza  at tnopapaza@gmail.com, 0736412728.)
  3. On Monday, the 9th December 2019, a prayer meeting will be held at his house: 54 Leadwood Drive Rangeview Extension Krugersdorp at 18:00 (6pm).
  4. On Tuesday, the 10th December 2019, Vukani Bantu/Tsohang Batho will hold a Memorial Service at the University of South Africa (UNISA). The venue and time will be confirmed.   5. On Tuesday, the 10th December 2019, the family will proceed to Welkom, where subsequent prayer meetings will be held.
