TO ALL IN THE UPCSA

The Church Office Committee, in their virtual meeting that was held on Tuesday 12 May 2020, discussed, among others the challenges that are brought about by COVID-19. When considering the operations at the Tiyo Soga House (Central Office), the Committee analysed the South African regulations, especially in terms of the different levels of the management of COVID-19. The Committee considered that the UPCSA should comply fully with the prescripts of the law and that the continued operations of the Central Office may jeopardise the health and safety of the Office staff, as some use public transport to travel to work. Hence, the Committee decided that the Office staff will operate from home as from Wednesday 13th May 2020 until further notice.

You are advised to use the cell phone numbers to reach a staff member you would like to get assistance from. The Central Office number (011 727 3500) will remain operational but will be answered by Ms Poppie Rakgomo from home. She will give you the number of the person you would like to talk to.

The staff of Tiyo Soga House remain grateful to all in the UPCSA for your support and love and for entrusting them with such a noble responsibility for the life and work of the Central Office. The staff will operate knowing fully well that we are, first and foremost, the servants of God and of the UPCSA.

We pray for all the ministers and their families, and for the leadership and all the congregants in every congregation of the UPCSA. Please remain safe and blessed.

Warmest Regards

Rev Lungile Mpetsheni

General Secretary
